This privacy notice tells you what to expect when Lattice Lodge collects personal information. It applies to information we collect about:

Visitors to our website

When someone visits www.latticelodge.co.uk we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website, unless they proceed to a booking. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it. Our booking system does keep details of abandoned bookings, and we may use this information to contact you in such an event, to see if we can help you.

Use of cookies by Lattice Lodge

Our website does use “cookies”, but these are only used for essential purposes such as tracking your order through the website to booking confirmation and payment, and some other functions on the website such as:

Google Analytics.

Google Analytics is used purely to track your progress through our website to help us determine how well it is working, and how we can improve it for you. It does not use any personal or financial information. You remain totally anonymous as far as our analytics are concerned.

Enquiry Forms

Where enquiries are submitted to us we will only use the information supplied to us to deal with the enquiry and any subsequent issues and to check on the level of service we provide.

Newsletters

We don’t issue newsletters. We get enough emails that we don’t want, and have no wish to add to yours. We will only contact you in relation to a past, existing or possible future booking.

We have to hold the details of the people who have requested these services in order to provide them. The lawful basis on which we process data is therefore a Legitimate Interest. A copy of our Legitimate Interests Assessment is available on request. However, we only use and retain data to provide the service the person has requested and for other closely related purposes. For example, we might use information about people who have requested a publication to carry out a survey to find out if they are happy with the level of service they received. When people do subscribe to our services, they can cancel their subscription at any time and are given an easy way of doing this. At all times any individual on whom we hold data has the following rights:

Lattice Lodge holds the following data for the following groups:

  1. Customers’ names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers on the accounting software which we use to run the business.

  2. Customers’ names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers on the booking software which we use to run the business.

  3. Customers’ names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers on the CRM software which we use to run the business.

  4. Suppliers’ names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers on the accounting software which we use to run the business.

All of the above information is password protected and all was supplied by the individuals or organisations themselves.

None of this data is ever shared with third parties with the exception of any cloud based software we use, where we need to hold it in order to provide the service we offer.

The identified Legitimate Interest is that Lattice Lodge needs to process the above data in the course of running the business which involves providing accommodation services as well as providing periodic information to our customers both in electronic format and (occasionally) in printed copy.

This involves such activities as sending invoices, statements and purchase orders, and other communications directly related to our business activities.

We also considered the Legitimate Interests of customers who are included on our databases and are confident that the Legitimate Interests of Lattice Lodge do not override the interests of those customers.

Every postal communication clearly displays a return address and our databases our updated regularly.

Any customer or supplier for whom we process data has the following rights in respect of the data that we hold relating to them:
